Thank You for an Incredible October Night Market
What a night! On October 10, historic downtown Seymour came alive after dark for our first October Night Market: Haunted Happenings, and we are still smiling from it. Thank you to everyone who came out, shopped local, and made Bank Street feel like the heart of our town.
To our shops: thank you for opening your doors late and filling the evening with something special. The Giggling Pig kept little hands busy with free pumpkin painting. VooDoo Antiques and Collectibles welcomed author Michael J. Bielawa for a meet & greet and hosted psychic readings with Mary Rauber. Glass Source Studios opened its studio for spooky glass suncatcher making, and Agave Diner, Tea with Tracy, Wildflour Confections, Mercantile Menagerie, Tickled Pink, Reclaim at Ro & Bette's Attic, and Flashbacks kept the evening going with treats, drinks, and late-night shopping. And to First Street Apizza, Zois Pizza, Jimmie's Place, and Train Station Pizza, thank you for feeding a hungry crowd.
A huge thank you to our vendors for bringing your crafts, creations, and curiosities downtown. You filled the market with one-of-a-kind finds, and we are grateful for every one of you.
To Charolette Roth, thank you for the live music that carried down the street all evening. Your set gave the night its soundtrack.
And most of all, to our community: thank you. Neighbors catching up on the sidewalk, visitors discovering downtown Seymour for the first time, you are the reason these events exist. Every purchase, every pumpkin painted, and every hello made the night what it was.
This is what Shops at Seymour is all about: one shop, one event, and one community connection at a time. We will see you at the Small Business Saturday Day Market on November 28, and if you'd like to join us as a vendor or volunteer, reach out any time at shopsatseymour@gmail.com.
